New director of the MMA

The Metropolitan Museum of Art has a new director, and he gave an interview to the Grauniad. Interesting ideas about how to cope with the shrinking economy; are we going to see new collections-focused propaganda as a result? "Focus on collections as cultural value, don't waste public money by building knowledge in exhibitions!"
